Time Pilot is one of those classic arcade shooters that just feels right. You're dumped straight into the sky in this little fighter jet, and suddenly enemy planes are swarming from every direction. The controls are dead simple—arrow keys to move, space to shoot—but dodging bullets while lining up shots gets intense fast.
What's cool is how the eras change as you progress. One minute you're blasting biplanes straight out of WWI, then suddenly you're up against futuristic jets that move way too fast. The screen gets absolutely packed with enemies, and somehow your tiny hitbox lets you slip through gaps that look impossible. I always panic when the parachuting pilots appear—gotta rescue them before they hit the ground, but the swarm never lets up.
It's the kind of game where you'll lose your first life in 30 seconds, then suddenly realize an hour's gone by when you finally beat the 1980s stage.
