Game Overview

Tony Hawk's Underground on GBA is way more chaotic than you'd expect from a handheld skate game. You're not just doing tricks for points—you're racing against Bam Margera's crew in this ridiculous global tour where everything feels cranked up to 11. The controls take a second to get used to (manual tricks still feel weird on a tiny D-pad), but once you nail a few combos down a half-pipe, it clicks.

What surprised me was how much personality they squeezed into this version. The levels are smaller than the console ones, obviously, but you still get that over-the-top vibe—like grinding rooftops while explosions go off in the background. And yeah, Bam’s crew are total jerks, which makes beating them even sweeter.

It’s not perfect, but for a GBA game, it’s wild how much of the attitude and speed they kept intact.
