Troddlers came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Atod AB. It was one of those puzzle platformers that felt a little different from the usual action fare on the system, more about thinking your way through each screen than just running and jumping.
You control a wizard who places blocks to guide small creatures called Troddlers safely to an exit. The main goal is to get all of them through each level without letting any fall or get caught by enemies. You build paths, block hazards, and sometimes redirect enemies, all while the Troddlers wander on their own and start climbing any surface they touch, including walls and ceilings. The pace is deliberate, and mistakes can force quick adjustments as the little guys get themselves into trouble. It feels like managing a chaotic, miniature construction site where every decision matters.
