Trolls Disk2 came out on the Amiga in 1992, developed by Flair Software and published by Capstone. It was a time when platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in, offering another adventure to dive into after school or on the weekend. You control a troll on a mission to rescue baby trolls scattered across numerous levels. Your main tool is a yo-yo, which you use to attack enemies, break certain blocks, and even swing across gaps. The game is structured screen by screen, and you'll hunt for hidden items while also collecting letters that spell either B-O-N-U-S or B-O-G-U-S, leading to special stages or trickier challenges. It moves at a fair clip, and some sections demand precise jumps and quick attacks. Playing it feels like a straightforward, sometimes unforgiving, run through a colorful and slightly silly world.
