Play Trolls Online
Digging tunnels as a big-nosed troll, dropping boulders on rivals and laughing when they crush you instead. Pure chaotic '90s nonsense that somehow makes you hit restart every time.
Trolls came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Flair Software Ltd. It was one of those early PC titles that felt experimental, a simple concept built for an era when games didn't need elaborate stories or 3D graphics to hold your attention. You played it on a clunky monitor, probably with a keyboard that clicked loudly, and it fit right in with other straightforward, screen-based puzzles of the time.
You control a troll whose main goal is to dig through dirt and drop boulders onto enemy trolls below. Each screen is a self-contained puzzle where you must crush all opponents without getting hit yourself or misjudging a boulder's path. The mechanics are basic but punishing; one wrong move means instant death, and the screen resets immediately. It requires careful timing and spatial awareness, since the rocks can bounce or roll in unexpected ways. Playing it feels like a mix of tense strategy and silly, unpredictable fun.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
