Ever played one of those weirdly charming Amiga platformers that feel like they were designed by someone who ate too much candy? This one stars a troll—yes, a troll—on a mission to rescue baby trolls from... well, the game never really explains why they need rescuing, but here we are.
At first, you’re just running and jumping, totally defenseless, which makes every enemy encounter a panicky scramble. Then you find the yo-yo, and suddenly you’re flinging it around like a tiny wrecking ball—smashing blocks, taking out enemies, even swinging across gaps if you time it right. It’s way more satisfying than it has any right to be.
The real hook, though, is the B-O-N-U-S letters hidden everywhere. Spell "BONUS" by the end of the level, and you’re rewarded with a bonus stage full of extra lives. Spell "BOGUS" instead? Congrats, you’ve just trapped yourself in a nightmare room where everything’s trying to kill you. No pressure.
It’s quirky, a little janky, and absolutely dripping with that late-’80s Amiga charm. You’ll either love it or wonder what the heck you just played.
