Vengeance of Excalibur picks up right after Spirit of Excalibur left off—Britain’s saved, Arthur’s dead, and just when you think things are settling down, Morgan Le Fay’s ghostly revenge, the Shadowmaster, starts wrecking everything. Now you’ve got to rally the knights, rescue the enchantress Nineve, and put an end to this mess.
It’s split into seven acts, mixing RPG exploration with light strategy battles. The world’s got this medieval Spanish vibe, with hand-painted backdrops that make every town and castle feel distinct. You’ll spend a lot of time clicking around the map, moving between locations, and figuring out where to go next—it’s all mouse-driven, though keyboard shortcuts help if you’re impatient.
Combat’s simple but satisfying, and the whole thing has that classic Amiga charm—just don’t expect modern conveniences.
