Play WCW vs. nWo - World Tour (USA) Online
You grapple with WCW and nWo legends, timing reversals just right before tossing someone into a steel cage with three friends screaming beside you. That announcer yelling "SUPERBRAWL!" still hits different.
WCW vs. nWo: World Tour came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1997, developed by Asmik Ace Entertainment. It was one of the earlier wrestling games on the system, arriving before many of the more polished titles that would follow. At the time, it offered a straightforward take on the sport, focusing on the heated rivalry between WCW and the New World Order factions.
You control a wrestler from either roster, aiming to win matches by pinfall, submission, or knockout. The game uses a grapple based system where you lock up with opponents, then execute moves based on directional inputs and timing. Signature mechanics include performing strong grapples by holding the button longer, and executing special moves once a momentum meter fills. The pacing is fairly quick, with matches that can end suddenly if you miss a reversal. It feels responsive and chaotic, especially with friends in the room.
