Game Overview
Worms World Party on the GBA is basically the same ridiculous, explosive fun as the PC version—just shrunk down to fit in your pocket. You still get those tiny worms yelling insults while lobbing grenades, firing shotguns, or dropping concrete donkeys on each other. The maps are smaller, sure, but they’re just as destructible, and somehow watching a worm get flung off-screen by a well-timed bazooka shot never gets old.
What’s wild is how well the chaos translates to the GBA. The controls take a second to get used to (aiming with the D-pad feels a little stiff at first), but once you’ve got the hang of it, you’ll be pulling off stupidly satisfying kills just like the big-screen versions. Multiplayer’s a blast if you’ve got a link cable and a friend willing to endure your sudden obsession with ninja ropes. And yeah, the AI can be brutal—nothing like losing to a worm named "Dave" who nails you with a perfect airstrike.
It’s not perfect—some of the voice lines get repetitive, and the screen’s a little cramped—but for portable worm warfare, it’s hard to beat. Just don’t blame me when you start muttering "Incoming!" under your breath in public.
