Worms World Party came out on Game Boy Advance in 2002, published by THQ. It was a solid portable version of the turn-based strategy series, fitting right in with other quirky, tactical games on the system at the time.
You control a team of worms, taking turns to maneuver across destructible terrain and eliminate the opposing team. The main objective is to outlast your enemies using a huge arsenal of bizarre weapons, from bazookas and grenades to exploding sheep and banana bombs. Two signature mechanics are the Wind, which affects projectile trajectory, and the Wormpot, which introduces random, game-changing events like low gravity or sudden acid rain. Matches are methodical but can quickly descend into frantic chaos. It feels like a clever, unpredictable puzzle where every move could be your last.
