Worms World Party came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Team17. It was part of that wave of late GBA releases that tried to squeeze a full console experience into your hands, and it managed to pack the series' signature artillery chaos into the small screen surprisingly well.

You control a team of worms, taking turns to move and fire an absurd arsenal of weapons across destructible terrain. The main goal is to eliminate the opposing team using everything from bazookas and airstrikes to exploding sheep and old ladies. Key mechanics include careful aiming to account for wind, using the ninja rope or jetpack to reach tricky spots, and setting up chain reactions with mines and dynamite. Matches are slow and tactical, but the difficulty can spike with unpredictable physics and clever AI. It feels chaotic and silly, but winning a close match by landing a perfectly timed grenade toss is deeply satisfying.
