Game Overview
Remember that old Xena: Warrior Princess show? This N64 fighter lets you throw down as Xena, Gabrielle, and a bunch of other characters from the series in these wild arena battles. At first it feels like a basic 3D fighter, but then you start pulling off these ridiculous spinning chakram throws and shield bashes that totally nail the over-the-top action of the show.
The real fun kicks in with multiplayer – grab a friend and you’ll be yelling at the screen when someone pulls off a last-second godly power move. Some characters feel way faster (looking at you, Callisto), while others like Ares just bulldoze through attacks. It’s janky in that classic N64 way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about the combat once you get the timing down.
If you ever watched Xena and thought “I want to suplex a warlord off a cliff,” this is your game.
