If you're into Yu-Gi-Oh! and still have a DS lying around, this one's a solid time-killer. You start off with a basic deck—nothing fancy—but the real fun is hunting down new cards and figuring out how to break the game with ridiculous combos. The AI opponents actually put up a decent fight, especially later on when they pull out some seriously annoying trap cards.
It’s got that classic GX-era vibe, so expect plenty of Jaden Yuki’s nonsense and way too many Elemental HERO fusions. The interface is a little clunky by today’s standards, but once you get used to it, dueling feels smooth. And yeah, you’ll definitely lose a few matches just because you didn’t draw the right card at the right time—welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh!, I guess.
Not the deepest version out there, but if you want something portable with a decent card pool, it’s worth a few duels.
