I remember wasting way too much time trying to make a decent dragon deck before realizing spellcasters were way more my speed.
The duels feel classic, just like the old GX anime days. No crazy new mechanics, just you, your cards, and that satisfying moment when your opponent doesn’t see your trap card coming. The AI isn’t a pushover either—some of these NPCs will wreck you if you’re not careful.
It’s all in Japanese, but if you know the card game well enough, you can mostly wing it. Just don’t expect a deep story mode or anything. This is pure card-slinging nostalgia.
