It’s got that perfect GBA vibe—bright colors, chunky sprites, and controls so simple you’ll be pulling off rainbow flicks by mashing buttons. Matches are lightning-fast, and the AI actually puts up a fight if you crank the difficulty. Found myself replaying the same match three times last night because the CPU kept equalizing in the last 10 seconds.

If you’ve got friends and a link cable, the multiplayer turns into pure chaos (in the best way). Otherwise, it’s just you versus the AI’s increasingly dirty slide tackles. Either way, it’s way more fun than a soccer game this old has any right to be.
