Ikari Warriors II: Victory Road came out on the NES in 1986 from SNK. It was part of that wave of arcade-style shooters that tried to bring a co-op, run-and-gun experience home. You control a lone warrior fighting through a series of single-screen areas, clearing each one of enemies to advance.
