Jungle chaos with tanks and choppers—spin on a dime with the weird joystick controls and unleash screen-shaking explosions while dodging waves of enemies. Best played with a friend, shouting over who stole the last power-up.

Ikari Warriors II: Victory Road came out in 1986 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a port of the SNK arcade game. It was a time when top-down shooters were common, and this one stood out for its military theme and cooperative focus. The game was developed by SNK, known for their arcade hits, and it brought that intense, quarter-munching style home to PC players.
You control a lone commando fighting through dense jungles and enemy fortresses, clearing the screen of soldiers, tanks, and helicopters to advance. The main goal is to push forward, destroying everything in your path until you reach the end of each stage. Signature mechanics include picking up various weapon power-ups, like flamethrowers and rapid-fire guns, and using vehicles such as armed jeeps and tanks for added firepower. The pacing is relentless, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty is punishing if you try to rush ahead carelessly. It feels like a constant, chaotic scramble for survival where every inch of progress is earned.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
