Game Overview
Zed Blade (or Operation Ragnarok, depending on where you played it) is one of those arcade shooters that grabs you by the collar and doesn’t let go. You’re thrown into a neon-drenched future where your ship’s firepower feels just barely enough to survive the swarms of enemies—until you grab a power-up and suddenly you’re shredding everything in sight. The levels get wild fast, with bosses that fill half the screen and bullet patterns that’ll have you weaving like crazy.
What I love about it is how unapologetically '90s it is—big explosions, chunky sprites, and a soundtrack that sounds like someone cranked a synth to 11. It’s not the deepest shooter out there, but it nails that arcade rush where you’re just trying to survive one more minute. If you miss the days of feeding quarters into a cabinet, this one’s a solid time machine.
