Download 007 - From Russia with Love (USA) ROM – Sony PSP Game
Sneak through Cold War Istanbul as Bond, blasting goons with an upgradable Walther PPK and pulling off ridiculous gadget kills—just watch out for Red Grant’s ambushes. The jetpack bits are janky, but those quick-time fistfights? Pure Connery cheese.
Game Overview
From Russia with Love came out for the PSP in 2005, developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts. It was one of the earlier titles on the system, arriving when the handheld was still new and developers were figuring out what it could do. The game is a third-person shooter that follows the plot of the 1963 film, letting you step into Sean Connery's shoes during the Cold War era.
You control James Bond through a series of missions set in locations like Istanbul and Venice. Your main goal is to recover a Soviet decoding device while thwarting SPECTRE's plans. Signature mechanics include using an array of gadgets, such as a briefcase that doubles as a shield and a remote-controlled helicopter, and engaging in close-quarters combat with context-sensitive melee attacks. The pacing is fairly linear, with a mix of shooting, driving, and occasional on-rails jetpack sections. It feels like a straightforward action game that captures some of the style and gadgets of the Bond universe without overcomplicating things.
