Signature mechanics include aiming down sights for precision shots, using different gadgets for specific puzzles, and completing missions under time limits or with specific criteria for better ratings. The pacing is deliberate; you often need to watch patrol routes and plan your approach. It feels tense and thoughtful, even when everything goes wrong and you're just spraying bullets down a hallway.
