Play 007 - GoldenEye (Japan) Online
Sneak through the Dam level, then go loud with the PP7—the janky N64 controls somehow make the chaos even better. Nothing beats four-player split-screen madness with proximity mines and the inevitable Oddjob arguments.

GoldenEye 007 came out for the Nintendo 64 in 1997, developed by Rare. It was one of those games that felt like a real step up from what we had on consoles before, especially for a movie tie in. You got to play through the film's story, mission by mission, and it just had a different weight to it compared to other shooters at the time.
You control James Bond, moving through objectives like infiltrating bases or sabotaging equipment. The main goal changes each stage, from silent eliminations to all out assaults. Signature mechanics include aiming down sights for precision shots, using different gadgets for specific puzzles, and completing missions under time limits or with specific criteria for better ratings. The pacing is deliberate; you often need to watch patrol routes and plan your approach. It feels tense and thoughtful, even when everything goes wrong and you're just spraying bullets down a hallway.
