You get two separate campaigns (Crash’s is purple, Spyro’s is orange, obviously), each packed with their usual antics—spin attacks, flame breath, the whole deal—except now they keep crashing into each other’s worlds.

At first it feels like two separate games stapled together, but then you hit these bizarre mini-games where they’re forced to team up (or more accurately, tolerate each other). Picture Crash trying to skateboard while Spyro breathes fire at incoming enemies, or them both crammed into a tiny tank. The writing’s surprisingly funny, poking fun at how ridiculous the whole crossover is.

It’s janky in that classic GBA way, but if you grew up with either of these guys, there’s something weirdly charming about watching them bicker their way through shared chaos. Just don’t expect a polished modern experience—this is pure early 2000s handheld nostalgia.
