Game Overview

You step into the shoes of Golgo 13—Duke Togo if you're being formal—a stone-cold assassin who doesn't waste words or bullets. The guy's got a rep from the manga world, and here he's tangled up with the FBI, CIA, and probably every three-letter agency that wants him dead or working for them. No fancy backstory, just a sniper rifle and a job to do.

This is the follow-up to Top Secret Episode, and things get wild fast. Somebody swiped a satellite from the SDI laser defense system, and now you're chasing leads, rescuing a scientist, and trying to stop global blackmail. Typical Tuesday for Golgo.

Gameplay flips between two styles: outside, it's a side-scroller where you're blasting through enemies and jumping gaps (sometimes awkwardly—NES physics, man). But step inside a building, and suddenly you're in a first-person maze, dodging guards and hunting for clues. There's even a driving section and those tense sniper sequences where one shaky shot can ruin everything. Feels like they crammed three games into one cartridge.
