Game Overview

B.A.T. 2: The Koshan Conspiracy came out in 1992 for MS-DOS, published by Ubi Soft Entertainment Software. It was part of that wave of early 90s PC games that tried to blend adventure, role-playing, and science fiction into something ambitious, even if the tech of the time made things a little rough around the edges.

You play as a futuristic agent investigating a conspiracy across multiple planets. The game uses a first-person perspective for exploration, screen by screen, with a heavy focus on dialogue, inventory puzzles, and using your wrist computer to hack systems or analyze items. Combat is present but infrequent, often relying on ranged weapons or environmental tactics. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to obscure puzzle solutions or sudden action sequences. Playing it feels like piecing together a dense, sometimes frustrating, but always intriguing sci-fi mystery.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
