They’ve got that chunky pixel charm, sure, but with some tweaks to keep your thumbs busy. Breakout’s got power-ups that actually matter (finally), Centipede throws in diagonal shots so you’re not just mashing the fire button, and Warlords? Way more chaotic with four-player link cable potential.

Weirdly, Warlords is the standout—there’s something about ricocheting fireballs at 3AM that never gets old. The other two are solid, though Centipede’s controls feel a bit stiff compared to the arcade original. Still, for a quick hit of nostalgia between classes or commutes, it does the job. Just don’t blame me when you start seeing centipedes in your peripheral vision after a marathon session.
