Game Overview
Played A Sound Of Thunder (EU) on GBA, and it's a weird little time-travel shooter. You start in this futuristic Chicago where dinosaurs are suddenly appearing because someone messed up the timeline by killing a butterfly. Yeah, it's that kind of story.
The first few minutes throw you right into itโyou're running around with a machine gun, blasting raptors in the streets while buildings crumble around you. The overhead view makes it feel a bit like an arcade shooter, but the time-freeze bombs add a nice twist when you're swarmed.
Biggest issue? The controls are kinda stiff, and the enemies sometimes just pop in out of nowhere. But there's something oddly satisfying about mowing down dinos with a grenade launcher while racing against the clock. The co-op mode is fun if you can find someone to play with.
Not a masterpiece, but if you're into cheesy sci-fi and fast-paced shooting, A Sound Of Thunder (EU) has its moments.
