This Amiga football game is pure late '80s nostalgia—right down to the robotic voice commentary (which somehow makes it better). You’ve got Frank Gifford hyping things up while pixelated cheerleaders wave pom-poms on the sidelines. The controls take a second to click, but once they do, you’re calling audibles, scrambling away from blitzes, and launching passes that either look brilliant or get picked off immediately. No middle ground.
Weirdly, the most satisfying part is just hearing that digitized voice yell "TOUCHDOWN!" like it’s being transmitted through a tin can. It’s janky, it’s dated, and honestly? That’s the charm. You’ll either love it or wonder why anyone thought synth-Gifford was a good idea.
