Play Acrobat Mission Online
Pilot a transforming fighter craft, blast enemies, dodge attacks, and collect power-ups across alien landscapes in this 1992 SNES shooter.
Acrobat Mission came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992, published by UPL. It was one of those early SNES shooters that tried to blend the familiar side scrolling action with some of the new visual tricks the system could handle. It didn't get a huge amount of attention at the time, sitting alongside a lot of other arcade style ports and original titles.
You pilot a transforming fighter craft through a series of industrial and alien landscapes. The main goal is simply survival, blasting everything in your path across several lengthy stages. Your primary weapon is a weak single shot that feels inadequate at first, but collecting power ups drastically changes your firepower, letting you fill the screen with bullets. A charge attack builds up for a massive burst, and you can deploy orbiting options that circle your ship for extra coverage. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is consistent, demanding quick reflexes for dodging dense enemy patterns. It feels like a constant scramble for upgrades to keep up with the escalating chaos.
