You play as Gomez Addams in this weirdly charming Sega Genesis platformer, jumping around the family mansion and beyond to rescue your kidnapped relatives. The levels are full of that Addams Family vibe—creepy but playful, with secret passages, swinging chandeliers, and the occasional exploding frog. I remember the controls feeling a little stiff at first, but once you get used to Gomez’s slidey jumps, it’s satisfying to chain moves together.

It’s not a direct retelling of the movie, more like a side story where Tully the lawyer (total scumbag, by the way) tries to steal the family fortune. Some of the platforming gets tricky—Wednesday’s dollhouse level still gives me nightmares—but it’s got that old-school charm where dying a lot just makes beating a section feel better. The music’s got that bouncy, spooky carnival thing going on too. If you like ‘90s platformers with personality, this one’s a solid time.
