Play After Burner (Unl) Online

You're blasting through the sky dodging missiles while enemy jets swarm in from all sides—half the time you're just trying not to crash into the ground upside-down. The NES can barely keep up with how fast everything moves, and that's exactly why it rules.

Game Overview

After Burner on the NES is that kind of game where you strap into a fighter jet and immediately feel like you're barely holding on. The screen scrolls way too fast, enemy planes come at you from every angle, and somehow you're supposed to dodge missiles while shooting back. It's chaotic in the best way—like the arcade version cranked up to 11, just with slightly chunkier graphics.

You start off thinking you've got this, then suddenly you're spinning upside-down trying to shake three missiles at once. The music’s blaring, your thumbs hurt, and you realize Yu Suzuki basically designed this to make arcade kids dump quarters. On the NES, it’s just as relentless, just without the moving cockpit. Good luck landing.
