Alcahest is a 1993 Super Nintendo action RPG developed by HAL Laboratory. You control a young warrior named Alyth, tasked with stopping an ancient evil by gathering the scattered pieces of a powerful seal. Your sword is your primary tool, and its swings feel deliberate and impactful; you can also find a bow for ranged attacks.
