Play Alice in Wonderland Online
Alice tumbles through a trippy Wonderland where potions change your size mid-jump, playing cards chase you, and that Cheshire Cat’s grin haunts every screen. Stack mushrooms, dodge the Queen’s tantrums, and swing flamingos like golf clubs—it’s the GBC at its weirdest.

I remember picking up Alice in Wonderland for the Game Boy Color back in 2000. It was developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Nintendo, one of those licensed games that felt right at home on the handheld. At the time, a lot of platformers were trying to stand out with gimmicks, but this one leaned into the source material's strangeness without trying too hard to be flashy. It wasn't a system seller, but it had its own quiet charm.
You control Alice as she explores Wonderland screen by screen, jumping on mushrooms and avoiding enemies like card soldiers and the unpredictable Queen of Hearts. The main goal is to find your way through each area, solving environmental puzzles and collecting items to progress. A couple of the mechanics really stick out: drinking potions to shrink or grow on the fly, which lets you access new paths, and using found objects like a flamingo to whack things out of your way. The pacing is deliberate, sometimes a bit slow, and it can be tricky figuring out what to do next. Playing it feels like wandering through a slightly disjointed but oddly compelling storybook.
