Alien vs. Predator came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Probe and published by JVC and later Acclaim. It was one of those licensed games that showed up a lot on the system, trying to capture the feel of the movies with the hardware available at the time.

You choose to play as a Colonial Marine, a Predator, or an Alien, each with unique abilities and weapons. Your goal is to fight through side-scrolling levels, clearing rooms of enemies while managing limited ammo and health. The Marine uses a pulse rifle and flamethrower, the Predator relies on its wrist blades and shoulder cannon, and the Alien attacks with its claws and tail. The game is methodical and difficult, requiring careful movement and resource conservation. It feels tense and deliberate, like you're always one mistake away from a game over screen.
