Amok came out in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, a collection that republished older titles for a new audience. The game was originally developed by Scavenger, and it fits right into that mid-90s era of isometric action games, where developers were experimenting with 3D perspectives on hardware that was still catching up to the ambition.

You control a heavily armed walker, navigating through a series of hostile, maze-like levels. Your main objective is to complete missions, which often involve destroying specific targets or surviving waves of enemy units.
