Play Aquatic Games Starring James Pond and the Aquabats, The (USA, Europe) Online

James Pond ditches spy work for underwater Olympics—you'll be timing fish swim-bys in "Kipper Watching" and bouncing off rubber castles while a hype announcer loses his mind. Controls are stiff '90s weirdness, but four-player high dive chaos makes it worth the jank.

Game Overview

Remember when every mascot character had to star in some weird sports spin-off? The Aquatic Games is James Pond’s turn—that stretchy British fish spy—except here he’s just vibing at a bizarre underwater Olympics. You’ve got eight events, and half of them feel like someone made them up after too much tea: "Kipper Watching" is literally just staring at fish until they swim by, and "The Bouncy Castle" is exactly what it sounds like (chaos).

It’s janky in that early ‘90s way where the controls take some getting used to, but there’s charm in how over-the-top the announcer gets. Four-player mode turns it into pure nonsense, especially during the high dive where everyone flops around like a panicked seal. Not exactly a hidden gem, but if you’ve got friends and a tolerance for weird retro jank, it’s good for a laugh.
