Arkanoid: Revenge of DOH is that classic brick-breaking arcade sequel where you're still piloting the little Vaus paddle ship, but everything's a bit shinier and weirder this time. The graphics got an upgrade, the soundtrack slaps harder, and there are way more levels—some with these trippy gravity shifts that'll mess with your timing at first.
Oh, and the story? Pure 80s arcade nonsense in the best way. Apparently Doh (yes, that's the villain's name) is back from another dimension in a ship called Xorg, so naturally you're sent in the Vaus II to... bounce balls at blocks in space again. I'm not questioning it.
The coolest part? They threw in a level editor, so when you get tired of the main campaign, you can build your own nightmare layouts to share. Just don't make everything indestructible like my cousin did—that's not fun, Steve.
It's still Arkanoid at heart, but with enough new tricks to feel fresh.
