Game Overview

Armored Core 3 on PSP is all about tweaking your mech between missions and then watching it tear through enemy metal. You start as a mercenary—basically a hired gun with legs (or treads, or hover jets). Missions pay out cash, and you’ll immediately dump it into upgrades: maybe a shoulder-mounted cannon that makes your mech stagger when it fires, or those little floating drone guns that orbit you like angry bees.

The customization is ridiculous in the best way—you’ll spend way too much time in the garage comparing armor stats or testing if a laser blade works better than a pile bunker. And when you finally take your franken-mech into a mission, everything clicks: dodging missiles while your overheating rifle whines, or barely scraping through a fight with one arm blown off. The ad-hoc multiplayer’s a blast too, assuming you can find someone else with a PSP and a need for giant robot violence.

Just don’t expect a deep story—this is a game about building the meanest tin can possible and then throwing it at other tin cans.
