Game Overview
Arnie is this gloriously over-the-top Amiga game where you play as a Schwarzenegger-esque beefcake mowing down terrorists. The levels scroll sideways, and half the fun is figuring out the best spots to crouch behind cover before popping up to blast fools with your machine gun. It’s way more tactical than it looks—just running in guns blazing gets you killed fast.
The first level throws you right into it: you’re ducking behind crates, timing shots between enemy volleys, and working your way toward some bomb-wielding maniac at the end. The pixel art nails that ‘80s action movie vibe, right down to Arnie’s ridiculous biceps. Way simpler than the sequel’s isometric stuff, but sometimes you just want to shoot things without overthinking it.
Also, the soundtrack slaps. That alone makes it worth a play.
