Arnie came out on the Amiga in 1992 from Zeppelin Games Limited. It was one of many action platformers on the system, a straightforward run and gun affair that didn't try to reinvent the wheel. You controlled a muscle-bound hero, moving from left to right through a series of themed levels.

You guide Arnie through side-scrolling stages, shooting an array of enemies with your default weapon. The main goal is simply to survive to the end of each stage, defeating a boss character waiting there. Key mechanics include collecting power-ups to change your weapon's firing pattern and navigating environmental hazards that require careful jumps.
