Game Overview
Arnie 2 is basically what happens when you take an '80s action movie, strip out the plot, and turn it into a chaotic MS-DOS shooter. You play as a beefed-up commando (wink, wink) who just… destroys everything in four levels. Chemical plants, airfields, battleships—if it exists, Arnie shoots or bombs it into oblivion.
Enemies are everywhere, but most of them just stand there like target practice dummies, firing in one direction until you mow them down. The real nuisance? Foxholes that keep spitting out cannon fodder like a broken vending machine. Grenades help, but you’ll hoard them for the tanks and helicopters that actually fight back. Sometimes dead guys drop better guns or health packs, which is nice because Arnie takes hits like he’s made of wet cardboard.
It’s not subtle, it’s not smart, but if you ever wanted to pretend you’re in a Schwarzenegger flick with worse graphics, this’ll do the trick. Just don’t expect stealth—unless you count running straight at machine guns while screaming.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
