Game Overview

Atomix is one of those puzzle games that looks simple at first—until you realize how tricky it actually is. You start with a handful of atoms scattered around a grid, and your job is to nudge them around until they match the molecule structure shown at the bottom. Sounds easy, right? Except atoms don’t just stop when you want them to—they slide until they hit a wall or another atom, so you’ve got to plan your moves carefully.

The first few levels ease you in, but before long, you’re staring at the screen, trying to figure out how to get that one stubborn atom into place without messing up the others. The time limit adds just enough pressure to keep things interesting without feeling unfair. And with 30 levels, there’s plenty to chew on—some of the later ones had me scratching my head for a while.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll fail a level, mutter “okay, one more try,” and suddenly realize you’ve been at it for half an hour. If you like puzzles that make you think ahead, this one’s a solid pick.
