Game Overview

Ever tried to build molecules like some kind of mad scientist? Atomix is this weirdly addictive MS-DOS puzzle game where you slide atoms around a grid, trying to assemble them into specific structures before time’s up. At first, it seems straightforward—until you realize atoms don’t stop until they crash into something, and suddenly you’ve trapped yourself in a corner.

The whole thing looks simple—just colored circles on a grid—but don’t let that fool you. It’s like playing chess with physics, where every move has consequences three steps later. I spent way too long on some levels, muttering at the screen while my atoms stubbornly refused to bond where I wanted them to.

If you’re into retro games that make you think (or just love the idea of failing at virtual chemistry), this one’s a hidden gem. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of time nudging oxygen atoms into place.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
