Play ATP Tour Championship Tennis Online
Pick a tennis legend or make your own—each one moves and hits totally different. You’ll learn fast that soft taps and hard presses on the D-pad mean the difference between a drop shot and a line drive.

ATP Tour Championship Tennis came out in 1994 for the Sega Genesis, developed and published by Sega. It was one of the few tennis games on the system, arriving at a time when sports titles were becoming more detailed and responsive. The game offered a straightforward take on the sport without the flash of some other releases that year.
You control a professional tennis player, either a real ATP star or a custom character, with the main goal of winning tournaments through matches played on various court surfaces. The gameplay hinges on timing your shots; holding the button longer results in a stronger hit, while quick taps produce softer, more precise placements. You also need to manage your player's position constantly, anticipating returns and adjusting for different ball physics on grass, clay, or hard courts. The pace is brisk, and higher difficulty levels demand sharp reflexes and strategic shot selection. It feels satisfying when you outmaneuver an opponent with a well placed passing shot.
