Bakukyuu Renpatsu!! Super B-Daman came out in 1996 for the Super Nintendo, developed by KID and published by Hudson Soft. It was one of those late-era SNES titles that tried something a little different, based on the B-Daman marble-shooting toy line. You don't see many games built around that kind of mechanic.
You control a small armored figure who shoots bombs at destructible blocks and enemies across single-screen stages. The main goal is to clear a path to the exit by causing chain reactions with your shots; hitting one block might make it explode and take out others nearby. Between levels, you can swap out your B-Daman's parts, which changes how your bombs behave, like their bounce or blast radius. The game moves at a steady pace, though some puzzles require precise aiming and a bit of trial and error. It feels satisfying to set off a big combo and watch the whole screen clear at once.
