Bankp was a 2003 release on the Nintendo GameCube, developed by GameDev Studios. It arrived during a period when the console was home to a number of inventive, mid-tier titles that favored quirky ideas over big budgets. The game never reached blockbuster status, but it found a small, dedicated audience drawn to its particular style of puzzle solving.

You control a young treasure hunter exploring a vast, dilapidated mansion, room by room. Your main tool is an extendable grappling hook, which you use to swing across gaps, retrieve out-of-reach items, and manipulate environmental puzzles. Combat is infrequent but tense; you fend off spectral guardians with timed blocks and well-aimed throws of your hook to temporarily disrupt them. Progress is measured, often requiring careful observation and experimentation with physics. The pacing is deliberate, and some puzzles can be quite stubborn, but the satisfaction of unraveling a particularly tangled room is genuine. It feels like patiently picking a series of very satisfying locks.
