Game Overview

Barbarian on the Amiga is one of those games that makes you feel like you’re getting away with something—like you shouldn’t be having this much fun with something so gloriously violent. You pick a warrior, step into an arena, and just start hacking away at some poor sap with swords, axes, or even your bare hands. The animations are ridiculously over-the-top—heads roll, limbs fly, and the crowd cheers like they’re watching a bloodsport (which, honestly, they are).

It’s not deep, but it doesn’t need to be. The controls are simple, the fights are fast, and the whole thing has this grimy, pulpy charm. You’ll probably lose your first few matches while figuring out the timing, but once you land that first clean decapitation? Yeah, that’s when it clicks. Just don’t blame me when you start yelling "For honor!" at your screen.
