Barney Bros (SMB1 Hack) is exactly what it sounds like—a reskinned Super Mario Bros. with Barney and friends awkwardly shoved into the Mushroom Kingdom. The first thing you notice is how unsettling it feels to see Barney's grinning face replacing Mario, stomping on Goombas that now look like... I don't even know, purple dinosaur rejects?
The controls are the same as the original, but something about jumping as Barney just feels wrong. The levels are unchanged, so you'll recognize every pipe and pit, but the visuals clash in a way that's more confusing than funny. It's like someone slapped a Barney sticker over a classic painting.
