First thing you'll notice? The controls are floatier than you'd expect—takes a minute to get used to jumping and shooting mid-air. But once it clicks, zipping around dropping batarangs on clown-faced goons feels pretty satisfying. The soundtrack's got that classic NES synth energy, especially the level with the neon city backdrop.
It's not perfect—some of the hit detection is janky, and the later levels get brutal—but if you grew up with this era of Batman games, there's something weirdly charming about it.
