Play Battle of Olympus Online
You play as Orpheus, sword in hand, creeping through temples and dodging minotaurs while gods whisper half-helpful advice—just try not to panic when the underworld music kicks in.

Battle of Olympus on the Game Boy is one of those games that sticks with you—partly because it’s tough as nails, partly because it nails that eerie Greek myth vibe so well. You’re Orpheus, scrambling through temples and forests with a sword that feels a little too small at first, dodging harpies and minotaurs while gods toss cryptic hints your way. The puzzles aren’t just filler; you’ll actually need to think, like figuring out how to outsmart a cyclops or when to bribe Charon for a ride.
What surprised me was how moody it all feels—the music’s this sparse, echoing thing that makes the underworld sections legit unsettling. And yeah, it’s got that Zelda-style exploration, but with way more olive trees and crumbling altars. Just don’t get too attached to your health bar. Hades plays dirty.
