You control a golfer from an overhead perspective, working through a series of courses with the goal of finishing each hole in as few strokes as possible. The game uses a three-click swing meter for power and accuracy; you time your button presses to start the swing, set the power, and then determine the shot's straightness. Wind direction and strength visibly affect the ball in flight, and you must also judge the lie of the ball on the fairway or in the rough. The pacing is brisk, and the challenge comes from reading the terrain and mastering the timing of your swing. It feels satisfying to sink a long putt after carefully judging the break of the green.
