Bi! Bi! was released for the Atari 2600 in 1980 by Sega. It was one of many simple, abstract shooters that filled the platform's library during its peak years, offering a straightforward arcade experience without much fanfare or backstory.

You control a small diver who moves left and right along the bottom of the screen, firing a harpoon upward at descending enemies. The main objective is to destroy all the blobs before they reach you; if any touch your diver, you lose a life. Two key mechanics include the ability to fire only one harpoon at a time (it must hit an enemy or leave the screen before you can shoot again) and the presence of a larger, faster enemy that appears periodically, accompanied by a distinct "Bi! Bi!" sound. The pacing is tense, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as more enemies descend in tighter formations. It feels like a race against the screen, where every shot counts and hesitation means defeat.
