Bi-Fi II: Action In Hollywood came out in 1994 for the Amiga, a time when the platform was still home to a lot of creative, if sometimes rough around the edges, action titles. Developed by Eclipse Software Design and published by Black Legend, it dropped you right into a chaotic, movie-themed adventure that felt ambitious for its time, even if it didn't always run smoothly.
You control a hero navigating a side-scrolling Hollywood, fighting enemies with a sword, jumping across movie sets, and occasionally hopping into vehicles for driving sequences that break up the platforming. The main goal is to explore screen by screen, defeat bosses, and solve environmental puzzles to progress. The pacing is uneven, with some sections requiring precise jumps and others throwing waves of enemies at you, making the difficulty spike noticeably. It feels like a messy, enthusiastic burst of ideas that doesn't always come together neatly.
